We've only seen the tip of the entrepreneurial iceberg...
The internet pushes everything to the edges and when you look at the other edge opposite Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google and Snapchat, it is made up of millions of small companies that serve a niche extremely well. The last major hurdle for most of these companies is payments and when that wall comes crashing down then look out. The best section from this piece is the following, "there is no conceivable future in which the number of people connected to the Internet shrinks. There is no conceivable future where smartphones become more exclusive products than they currently are. There is no conceivable future in which the percentage of transactions consummated online decreases from its present ~1% in the most connected economies."

This is going to be an interesting battle to watch. Snapchat is going all in on audio (see voice changers) and Facebook is trying to press content providers to make video that works on mobile without audio. Whose side are you on?
