Howdy folks! We're back after a short hiatus. Hopefully nobody was holding their breathe since the last newsletter...Let me get some housekeeping out of the way up front.Due to some changes in priorities, I'm going to be scaling back Jabes Twitter Musings to deliver every 3-4 weeks rather than weekly. I think this is good news all around. First off, you don't pay a cent so you shouldn't feel like you're getting jobbed. Secondly, this should hopefully mean each send from here on out packs a bigger punch. I say hopefully because procrastination is a fickle enemy. With the housekeeping out of the way, let me tease the newsletter. This week we are touching an area that is near and dear to my heart. Education. While I will use the word “education” in general terms throughout the post, what I’m really referring to is the skill-based education that you get in higher ed. The part that makes you super employable and able to recoup a return on the cost of admission. If you find yourself reading this and saying, "well yes, that works for X but would never work for Y," I want you to stop what you're doing and email me what Y is! I am extremely interested in exploring all parts of the online education idea maze.Full disclosure, I consulted for a company called Rhyme which I reference in this post. Ok, ok, on to the good stuff.
